Literary Luncheon with Amy Lewis Faircloth
Friday, January 11, 2013, 11:45am

Amy Lewis Faircloth Speaks on Her Book About Asberger's
Rory wears black clothes covered in skulls to keep other teens away. He doesn't want people to laugh at the way he talks, how he paces when he's anxious or his interest in lawn mowers and all things mechanical. Rory has Asperger's syndrome (commonly known as AS), and he's not alone. Wicked Good, a first novel by sisters Amy Lewis Faircloth of Hampden and Joanne Lewis of Florida, is about a single mother, Archer, struggling to raise her adopted son, Rory. Their story opens a door into a world that is rarely seen. Amy Lewis Faircloth is the Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library's January Literary Luncheon speaker, beginning at 11:45 a.m. on Friday, January 11. Cost of the lunch, provided by Red Cup, is $10. Please go to the library and sign up early as space is limited. For more information, contact the library at 633-3112 or email Barb at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
