Share Your Library Story!

As we know there are plenty of stories in the news about the very real challenges that libraries face today.

In an effort to support libraries and help share all the wonderful good work and life changing services and support that libraries are doing, Gale has launched a online blog - Tell Your Story -

For each story submitted to the My Library Story community (through February 28, 2015), Gale will donate $1 to an advertising fund used to promote libraries through mainstream media during National Library Week 2015. The donation tracker is updated daily as guest posts are published (not real-time upon submission).

You can contribute! Share your own story and encourage others to share their experiences as well.

Wellness Forum with Dr. Steve Cook

Steve Cook MDSteve Cook plans to kick off this Patient Empowerment Study Group with an initial Q&A session on Tuesday, October 7th at 7 pm at the Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library on the ground floor. He's hoping to form a core group of people representing each of the communities on our peninsula, each of whom is willing to meet privately with Steve to review and understand his/her medical records and then to meet with the study group on a weekly basis for a trial period, and then review and evolve the program together. We encourage and welcome your participation!

This program is sponsored by the Boothbay Region Health & Wellness Foundation.
